Workshop on Nuclear Data Needs for Nonproliferation

Abstract

Recently, the National Nuclear Security Agency, Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research and Development (DNN R&D) hosted the Nuclear Data Roadmapping and Enhancement Workshop (NDREW). This workshop brought together nuclear data experts, data users, and program leads to discuss nuclear data needs for the nonproliferation mission and to recommend a path forward. Results of this workshop will lead to a comprehensive nonproliferation nuclear data strategic document. This paper provides historical context, summarizes workshop discussions, and provides recommendations by the nuclear data community for a comprehensive nuclear data program.
