Aaron R. Goodin

Aaron has worked for Department of Energy Large Capital Projects for a majority of his career along with Department of Defense Contractors.

Aaron has always been passionate about merging engineering and manufacturing to better help in up front engineering activities. Many of his background jobs have expanded across various fields of expertise to include:

• Pipe Stress Design Engineer
• Vessel Design 
• Finite Element Analysis
• ASME B31.3 and ASME BPVC
• Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance for Machinability
• High Complexity Process Equipment Acquisition
• Research and Design for Weapon’s Manufacturing Equipment
• MIL Spec NAVSEA Certified Equipment for DoD
• Technical Procurement Officer

He is excited to bring his breadth of knowledge to Oak Ridge National Laboratory while also very excited for the opportunities to learn about the mission space of the mission to bring critical isotope production back to the United States.
