The Materials & Chemistry Group within the Nuclear Nonproliferation Division is responsible for fundamental materials science related to the nuclear fuel cycle. Within MCG, we leverage state-of-the-art materials analysis methods, combined with controlled material synthesis, to understand the chemical and physical signatures of process perturbations on nuclear fuel cycle materials.
