Roger J. Weaver

Mr. Weaver serves as the Nuclear Facility Manager for the Radiochemical Engineering and Development Center (REDC) within the Nonreactor Nuclear Facilities Division (NNFD) of the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Previously, he held the role of Hot Cell Operations Group Lead in the Isotope Processing and Manufacturing Division of the same directorate.

With 32 years of experience at ORNL—31 of which have been dedicated to the REDC—Mr. Weaver has extensive expertise in nuclear facility operations. His professional experience spans nuclear hot cell chemical processing operations, facility system management, and the oversight of safety-class and safety-significant instrument calibrations and functional testing to ensure compliance with Technical Safety Requirements.

Mr. Weaver is qualified as an Operations Supervisor for Building 7920, a Task Lead within NNFD, and the REDC Nuclear Facility Manager. He holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Pellissippi State Community College.
