Characterization of Roll-Processed Dielectric Materials

During the manufacturing process, variations in the dielectric material may occur that affect its electrical or physical properties in ways that impact the quality of the finished product. In some cases, the variation in properties becomes severe enough that the end product is unusable and must be scrapped. Detection of these variations very early in the manufacturing process can maximize the quality of the finished goods, minimize waste material, and reduce the energy consumption of the manufacturing process.
