Large Scale Polymer Additive Manufacturing and Carbon Fiber Layup Integration

The invention relates to additive manufacturing and more specifically to apparatuses and methods for producing large carbon fiber parts with high processing rates. The basic idea is to have a new system that combines additive manufacturing for the manufacture of a mandrel and carbon fiber layup for a high strength/high stiffness part. Applications can be very broad and it can be scaled to be very large.
