Al-Ce cast heat exchangers

The invention herein leverages the unique castability and reactivity of the recently developed Al-Ce alloys to cast heat exchanges such that post-casting welding and brazing is not required due to 1) casting monolithic heat exchangers as well as 2) casting manifolds around preassembled microchannels that form a chemical bond or partial chemical bond to the manifolds during casting.
