Additively Manufactured Copper Windings with Hibert Distribution Cross Section

Additively manufacturing of the windings with a conductor distributed in the cross-section according to the Hilbert curve provides many benefits as it allows for the reduction of the high-frequency losses due to the reduction of the effective winding conductor size. This prevents induction of the eddy currents in the low and medium frequency range of the equivalent (rectangular or square) winding resistance of the conductor and as a result, allows for an increase of the switching frequency of the power electronic converter or its power.
